Limitations of Qlikview
Online publication and ease of report sharing
Qlikview, if installed on a webserver, allows users to publish specific dashboards online, through your website for example. However, for more user specific data access, Qlik proposes Qliksense, the ‘Cloud’ version of Qlikview, with user accesses, restrictions and limitations.
Email/ static reporting
Sending a Qlikview report in PDF format requires the use of a Qlik addon: Nprinting, which allows you to set user access filters to a generic report, and have it mailed to your customers, each seeing their own data on the pdf attachment. This means additional template development (on Nprinting) and additional license fees for this optional feature.
